Before the concept was revealed, the first image of RE:SET began with the deliberate removal of color.
The teaser was presented entirely in black and white, focusing attention on emotion, rhythm, and movement. This was not simply a stylistic choice, but an opening frame that condenses the project’s overall direction and sensibility.
What stands out is its approach to texture and materiality.
While many AI-driven works rely on a recognizable “AI look,” this project intentionally avoids that aesthetic. Instead, every surface and texture is constructed as a physical result of light, space, and motion.
This approach continues in the production process.
Built in Unreal Engine, the piece was developed within a real-time rendering environment where camera, space, and character movement were precisely designed. The result feels less like a composite of generated visuals and more like moments captured within a tangible space.
By removing color, the teaser reveals more. Surface detail, light direction, and movement timing come forward, offering an early glimpse into the tone and texture of the world to come.
Ultimately, the teaser goes beyond a preview.
It acts as a condensed statement of how RE:SET was made and what it intends to show.
